Are you a student with a knack for documentation, GitHub, and clean styling? Want to make a real impact while gaining valuable tech experience this summer? Join us for a 1-month paid summer job where you'll help bring structure, clarity, and consistency to our product documentation.

We are looking for a student to help us migrate, centralize, and update our documentation so it's easy to access and styled to match our latest guidelines.
What You'll Work On
1. Documentation Migration
Convert all formats to .rst and centralize in our GitHub repository.
Clean up outdated syntax, fix warnings/errors, and update glossary terms.
Define and manage export rules (e.g., Kubernetes docs to PDF only).
2. Styling & Theming
Update the documentation theme to align with our current style guide.
3. Automation & Build Workflows
Update Sphinx packages and Docker build files.
Improve GitHub Actions for automated builds (HTML & PDF).
Add local test scripts.
4. Frontend Integration
Integrate the new documentation wiki into our UI.
Ensure users can access the correct page from where they are in the app.
Job requirements
Who are we looking for?
You’re a student in (Applied) Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.
Comfortable working with Markdown, reStructuredText (or LaTeX).
Basic experience with GitHub and Docker.
Some HTML/CSS knowledge and familiarity with VSCode.
Structured, detail-oriented, and curious about dev tooling.
Practical Info
We offer a paid student contract (hourly rate: xx EUR)
The student job can be scheduled in July, August or September.
Hybrid way or working: you can switch between our office in Ghent & home office.
