We’re looking for a talented and highly motivated Sales Development Represenative in the US to join our team. We are planning to expand our offices to the US in 2022-2023 (location TBC).

  • As a Sales Development Representative, you will contribute to the overall growth of the company by driving new enterprise sales in the United States. This critical function is responsible for communicating directly with sales prospects to uncover and understand their unique needs. This role is focused on "new logo" sales, not renewals or expansion sales to existing clients.
  • You will independently nurture and develop your leads, marshalling support as necessary from resources throughout the organization to perform product demonstrations, define needs and use cases for DISQOVER
  • You will develop enterprise sales leads generated by marketing campaigns, thought leadership, events and networking, and even your own relationships into revenue-generating opportunities.
  • You will maintain an internal knowledge base on each of your leads and opportunities, and you will represent the market to inform marketing campaigns, sales process, and product roadmap.

Job requirements

The Ideal Candidate...

  • holds a bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, business administration or a related field, and optionally an MBA, sales, or related advanced degree or certification.
  • has at least 12 months experience in enterprise sales with a track record of achieving targets/quotas.
  • has the ability to speak with and ask intelligent questions of, with CxOs, xVPs, and more junior leaders driving budgets, resources, and decision-making inside their organizations.
  • excellent in communication, organization and collaboration skills with colleagues and customers.
  • adapted to the work-at-home conditions of 2020 and remained successful / produced results.
  • a positive, empathetic, can-do, results-driven attitude with a bias for speed and action.
  • proficiency with GSuite, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Slack and/or equivalent digital tools.
  • a desire to work in a start-up / scale-up environment, with previous success having done so.

A distinct plus would be knowledge of or experience with…

  • platform or software subscription business models, with monthly or annual recurring revenue (MRR/ARR) "new logo" sales being a primary measure of your job performance and compensation plan.
  • the life science industry, specifically with pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and/or related companies that possess complex data generated in animal and human research activities.
