Position: UX Designer

As a UX Designer you will be enhancing user experiences by creating clear, intuitive, and user-friendly designs. You will focus on understanding user needs and translate them into practical, engaging solutions that align with business goals. Your overarching goal is to ensure that our product(s) are effective, accessible, and enjoyable for our users.


Your primary responsibilities include:

  • UI Design & Experience: Create visually appealing interfaces that adhere to ONTOFORCE’s branding and offer best user experience supporting user adoption of the platform.
  • Design Iteration: Refine designs based on usability testing and feedback to ensure the final product meets user needs.
  • Data Analysis & User Behavior: Analyze research data to identify patterns, pain points and opportunities for improvement.
  • User Engagement Metrics: Monitor user engagement metrics like bounce rates and task completion.
  • Prototyping & Wireframing: Create wireframes and prototypes for new functionalities, focusing on usability and simplicity.
  • Accessibility: Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), making the product inclusive and usable for all users.
  • User Research & Insights: Participate to user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing. Gather feedback and analyze insights to ensure designs meet user needs and align with the product strategy.

Job requirements

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in UX/UI Design.
  • Experience in creating prototypes and wireframes using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar).
  • Understanding of user research methods and usability testing techniques.
  • Interest in analyzing user behavior and engagement metrics to inform design improvements.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • An eye for detail and passion for creating user-friendly designs.
  • Experience in the life science industry is a plus.
