We're looking for a talented and highly motivated HR Manager with proven experience in a (tech) scale-up to join our team.

Your Responsibilities

People are our most important asset, and you'll be the one to ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realize our established mission and objectives. The HR Manager should develop HR processes and implement strategies that support business growth, ensure job satisfaction and retention and attract the best talent. Promoting corporate values and shaping a positive culture is a vital aspect of your function.

  • You develop and implement HR initiatives and policies aligned with the overall business strategy
  • You manage the recruitment process and negotiate employment agreements
  • You champion the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality
  • You oversee and manage a job leveling and appraisal system that drives high performance
  • You create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide personal development and career advancement opportunities
  • You analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent
  • You maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • You report to senior management by analyzing data and using HR metrics.

Job requirements

Our ideal colleague...

  • holds a Master's degree and has 5-7 years of experience in HR
  • understands the challenges of a scale-up and knows first-hand how to grow organizations successfully in an international context.
  • has in-depth knowledge of labor law, HR best practices, policies, and systems. Hand-on experience with HR software is a plus.
  • is great at active listening and building strong interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • knows how to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • is people-oriented and results-driven
  • is adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • possesses a high work ethic, excellent communication skills, strategic thinking abilities, strong organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • is fluent in Dutch and English.
